Under the general supervision of the Chief Enrollment Management Officer, oversees the Financial Aid Office which administers student financial aid programs that are funded by the federal government, various states and the university. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with federal regulations, state regulations, and university policies. It is vital to the success of the university's strategic enrollment goals related to recruitment and retention. Working within an enterprise system, currently PeopleSoft, this position ensures that procedures and processes are automated and streamlined to promote excellent customer service.
Master's degree in student personnel, higher education administration or related field. A minimum six years of experience in financial aid. Evidence of management or supervisory experience. Knowledge of Federal/other higher education financial aid programs and the regulations governing the administration of these programs. Willingness to learn sign language.
