Northern State University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in School Counseling.

 

Qualifications:  Applicants must have an earned doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision with an emphasis in School Counseling, preferably from a CACREP-accredited program; ABD considered for a term instructor.  Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience as PK-12 school counselors.  A record of scholarly productivity or potential, teaching experience, and professional service will enhance the candidates application.  Emphasis in school counseling preferred. 

 

Responsibilities:  Teaching graduate courses in a learner-centered environment, practicum and internship supervision, academic advisement, scholarly activity, and service to the university and community.  Appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor is dependent on qualifications and experience.  Salary is commensurate with rank and experience.
