Administrative Fellowship Program


Harvard University seeks to attract candidates, especially members of historically underrepresented ethnic groups, and those committed to increasing the pipeline of talented individuals and professional opportunities for those interested in careers in higher education and administration. Applicants must have at least five years of management work experience. The 2014-2015 Administrative Fellowship Program seeks applicants with B.A. degree and backgrounds in athletics/sports management, information technology, alumni affairs and development (conference planning and/or fund raising), research (behavioral sciences), program administration and management, finance, human resources (employment and compensation), or library science and management.


• Fellows receive salaries and are placed in full-time work assignments in Harvard schools or central administration departments for the duration of the Program.

• Seminars, lectures and case studies have been designed for the Fellows to enhance management and administrative skills, self-assessment and career development.

• Evaluation of the applications will be based on professional achievement, interviews at Harvard, and suitability for the Program.

• Inclusive dates for the 2014-2015 Program are September 2014 through August 2015.
