Major Duties
Under direct supervision of the Associate Dean, responsible for all the administrative support and project coordination in the Academic Support department of the Tseng College. Duties include, but are not limited to, tracking and coordinating all requests and projects for the Associate Dean; tracking the progress and monitoring the process for academic conflicts and complaints in accordance with university policies and guidelines; assisting students and facilitating the university's academic affairs appeals processes, maintaining all records of academic curriculum approvals; facilitating the program review and program assessment plans by managing and tracking the schedule, gathering data, and preparing and submitting of the reviews ; and providing support for international academic affairs assignments by ensuring effective approaches to tracking and administering International Visiting Scholars, Travel Study proposals, and international MOUs and agreements.

Working with the Associate Dean and the WASC Administrative Lead, supports the work for accreditation and compliance related matters for the College. Duties include, but are not limited to, researching policies and guidelines, gathering data, preparing reports, and submitting documents as directed. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university in a job-related field. Additional experience in job-related field may be substituted for up to two years of the required education, on a year-for-year basis. Equivalent to a minimum of two years of full-time, progressively responsible technical, analytical, or administrative experience. Bachelor's degree or above from a regionally accredited university and three years of technical, analytical or administrative experience is preferred.

Knowledge, Specialized Skills, and Abilities: Thorough knowledge of correct English grammar, spelling, and punctuation; office methods, procedures, and practices; and university infrastructure, policies, and procedures. Demonstrated ability in successful project, program, or events management is required. Ability to organize multiple tasks and coordinate their on-time delivery. Demonstrated ability to identify and clarify priorities, take initiative, meet deadlines and attend to details is required. Demonstrated ability to effectively lead project teams, committees and working groups. Strong computer skills required. Demonstrated ability to use computer capabilities to structure and manage projects, write and edit documents and prepare and track budgets. Must be able to manage contacts and relationships and do research. Strong skills are required in email distribution and organization, internet searching, contact management software, spreadsheet software, word-processing and document preparation software and calendar programs.

Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule

Anticipated hiring range: $3245 - $3500, dependent upon qualifications and experience.

HOURS: Full-time; 40 hrs/wk; may include some evenings. Temporary-renewable; year-to-year.
