SOCIAL WORK FACULTY- (tenure-track) - The Department of Criminal Justice, Legal Studies and Social Work is seeking a full-time faculty member (Assistant Professor) to teach in the baccalaureate social work program beginning August 2014. Responsibilities include classroom and online teaching and supervision of students in field experiences. Additional responsibilities include scholarship and professional development related to the teaching of and practice of social work; advising students; providing departmental/university/community service. The BSW program is fully accredited by Commission on Social Work Education (CSWE). REQUIRED: Masters degree in social work from a CSWE-accredited program plus state licensure as a social worker (LMSW, LCSW, or an equivalent) OR Ph.D. in Social Work or closely related area with MSW from a CSWE-accredited program; experience working with collaborative community relationships. PREFER: Previous experience in teaching at the baccalaureate level; background in instructional technology. Candidates not meeting all requirements are encouraged to apply for a non-tenure track position.
