The Department of Agricultural Education & Studies at Iowa State University seeks applicants for a full time lecturer position. The primary duties for this position are to teach undergraduate agricultural education courses related to agricultural communications (oral and written); supervise student interns; recruit, advise, and mentor undergraduate students; advise a student organization; and serve on departmental, college, or university committees.
Successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills as well as a dedication to excellence in undergraduate education.
Master degree, by start date, in Communications or Education, or closely-related discipline with concentration in Journalism, English, or closely related discipline.
Teaching experience in communications at the college level. Work experience in the area of communications or education. Knowledge or familiarity with agriculture.
