The Health Services Administration program seeks to fill a 9-month tenure-track faculty position in its accredited Health Informatics and Information Management track to begin August 2014. Responsibilities include teaching assigned courses and internships in the Health Services Administration program. Courses may be delivered via traditional, interactive, or distance learning format. As it pertains to instruction, the candidate will develop syllabi, projects, lectures, tests, and assessment instruments; instruct a diverse student population by integrating multiple strategies of instruction and interaction; and expand knowledge and competencies in the field of health informatics and information management and in the learning process. The candidate will also serve as a student academic advisor; actively engage in service to the program and department through participation on select committees, projects, or assignments; engage in university, community, and professional service activities; work collaboratively with other faculty and staff in fostering a community of learning and growth; engage in research and other scholarly activities; and carry out other duties as determined by the Chair.
