The Arizona State University Colleges at Lake Havasu City ( opened in the fall of 2012 and focuses exclusively on instruction in high-demand undergraduate degree programs.  We have an extraordinary commitment to student success, community impact, and teaching excellence.  All degree programs require a senior capstone project.

The ASU Colleges in Lake Havasu invites applications for a full-time chemistry faculty position.  We are particularly interested in individuals with a background in organic, biological, or environmental chemistry.  Teaching responsibilities include Organic Chemistry I & II, General Chemistry I & II, Environmental Chemistry, and Biochemistry.  The position will be filled at the Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, or Principal Lecturer rank, depending on experience.


This is a 9-month, full-time, benefits eligible position starting 16 August 2014.  The successful candidate will have a minimum of an earned Ph.D. in chemistry or a closely related field, demonstrated teaching experience, and a commitment to student success in a transdisciplinary environment.  Review of applications will commence on March 15, 2014 and will occur every Friday.  Please contact 928-854-9705 with any questions.
