Position Summary:
The Senior 4-H Program Lead will participate as a key member of the 4-H Program Executive Leadership Team (4-H PELT). Responsibilities will include managing programmatic responsibilities directly tied to an evaluation tool to develop a strong evaluation and reporting protocol for the Idaho 4-H educational efforts. Will cultivate a 4-H Community of Practice (CoP) to share teaching techniques and develop a consistent 4-H teaching model using current pedagogy principles to streamline the 4-H program through common goals centered on the 4-H mission. Intentionally embed inclusivity methods in all teaching objectives to reach non-traditional audiences and comply with Affirmative Action/Equal Employment Opportunities program in all aspects of Idaho 4-H work. Assist the 4-H director with data collection for annual reports. This is a tenure track position, and is negotiable on rank for an Assistant or Associate Professor position. Rank and tenure are negotiable based on how the candidate meets the criteria outlined in department and college bylaws.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in youth or human development, education, social work, or related field. Master’s degrees in other fields may be considered with work experience that demonstrates similar competencies.
- 5 years of full-time professional experience relevant to human development, education, or social work.
- Experience with oral, written, interpersonal, and information technology communication skills.
- Experience working collaboratively as a team member with families, volunteers, youth leaders, community collaborators, academics and programmatic staff, and other stakeholders.
- Experience adapting to evolving situations and circumstances.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in a related field.
- Experience with 4-H youth programs.
- Experience with progressive, innovative, and effective program leadership management.
