ASSISTANT DEAN FOR FINANCE AND OPERATIONS COLLEGE OF EDUCATION

The College of Education invites applications and nominations for the position of Assistant Dean for Finance and Operations. The college has a very strong national and international reputation, and is committed to excellence in its academic and administrative functions, including in implementing the university's Bolder by Design strategic initiatives. This position is responsible for the financial, human resources, facilities, and technology operations of a college with over 300 employees, 4,000 students, and $60 million in annual revenues. This is a full-time, annual (12-month) appointment reporting to the Dean of the College of Education. The position is open rank, including academic specialist. The desired start date is May 1, 2014. Qualifications: Applicants must be eligible for appointment as a faculty member, or as an academic specialist with a terminal degree that would permit appointment as an assistant dean. Three-five years of experience in finance and operations, preferably in a large, complex academic organization.
