GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Residence Hall Director (RHD) role is a live-in position responsible for the total administration and operation of a residential community. RHDs are expected to provide welcoming and vibrant communities that foster personal growth and enhance the student experience. RHDs do this through staff and student development, resident outreach, community building, attention to facilities, and administrative organization. QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferred: Master's degree in Behavior Science area, such as Student Affairs/College Student Personnel, Counseling, or Higher Education and two years of residence hall employment experience.



Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science or related field and three years residence hall employment experience; OR Seven years residence hall employment experience; OR An equivalent combination of experience, training, and/or education.
