Public Health Faculty Positions

 

The Division of Public Health in the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine is seeking faculty members with expertise in one or more of the five core disciplines of Public Health. These faculty positions will involve teaching, research and service.  Candidates should possess an earned doctoral degree in public health or related field and at the time of appointment. Faculty rank, track and salary will be commensurate with experience and programmatic needs.  

 

Priority areas for the Division of Public Health are:

 

  • Expertise across the five core disciplines of Public Health (biostatistics, epidemiology, environmental health, health policy and administration and social behavioral science)
  • Expertise in the quantitative core disciplines of Public Health (biostatistics and epidemiology)
  • Expertise utilizing the Utah Population Database and conducting research integrating large, linked datasets
  • Expertise in womens health
