SOCIAL AND PERSONALITY PSYCHOLOGY: The Department of Psychology at the University of Dayton invites applications for a postdoctoral research fellowship in the area of social and personality psychology with an emphasis on adult development. The candidate must be ABD at time of application and have earned PhD in social or personality psychology (or developmental psychology if focused on adult development), by time of appointment.


Minimum qualifications:

PhD by time of appointment (ABD by time of application) in social or personality psychology or developmental psychology if focused on adult development. Demonstrated record of programmatic research in the social and personality psychology of self-identity, romantic relationships, or personality development. Strong background in statistics (including experience with nested longitudinal data, STATA, HLM, or growth curve modeling).


Preferred qualifications:

Expressed interest and/or perceived potential for developing a longitudinal study of the personal and social development of University of Dayton alumni.

Expressed interest and/or perceived potential for working collaboratively with colleagues in psychology and across the university.

Knowledge of and sensitivity to a Catholic Marianist work environment.
