Sociology: Indiana University-Bloomington. The Department of Sociology invites applications for a tenure-track advanced Assistant or Associate Professor with specialization in networks. Candidates with additional expertise in health and genetics are strongly preferred. The appointee will be expected to take an active role in the newly established institute for network science research. Minimum requirements are a PhD in Sociology, demonstrated success in research and obtaining external funding and experience teaching and mentoring graduate students. The ideal candidate will be a catalyst for initiating funded collaborative research projects. Teaching duties include both graduate and undergraduate courses and the candidate will have a major role in the development of a network science curriculum.
