The faculty members of the School of Art seek a full-time, Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in printmaking, with expertise in another studio area, preference given to foundations pedagogy, digital media, or time-based media.
To begin mid-August, 2014, this hire will be prepared to teach printmaking at all levels including a graduate seminar emphasizing contemporary approaches, as well as undergraduate for majors and other students in cognate fields. Annual teaching load is 3/3, with expectation of creative activity/research and service of such quality as to lead to tenure and promotion.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Journalism, Marketing, English, or relevant field. Four to five years of progressively responsible experience in marketing, editing, writing, publication production and project management to include a minimum of three years experience in a senior role.
