Biology: Research Associate, Flow Cytometry Facility, Bloomington, IN - Manages Flow Cytometry Facility. Assists with preparation of major research instrumentation grant applications, trains users of the facility, runs and sorts samples, maintains and operates the instrumentation, prepares stock solutions, and the monthly invoicing. Additional responsibilities include: instrument troubleshooting; helping maintain safe practices within the facility; assessing new and alternative cytometry techniques; and ensuring data is sufficiently backed up. Reqs BA/BS in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Genomics, or related, plus 12 months experience working in a laboratory environment using flow cytometry equipment. Requires skills in FACSAria II, FACSCalibur, COPAS Select with AAP, LSRII with HTS, Z2 Coulter Counter, AmpliSpeed PCR systems, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
