Nursing: The Department of Nursing at Arkansas Tech University invites applications for two Assistant Professor of Nursing positions. Both positions will be 9-month, tenure-track positions, teaching a full-time load equivalent to twelve credit-hours per semester. For more information about the department, please visit: The Department of Nursing offers ACEN (formerly NLNAC) accredited BSN, online RN to BSN, and MSN in Nursing Administration and Emergency Management programs. Both positions require a minimum of two years clinical experience, and an Arkansas nursing license (or the eligibility to obtain one). Critical Care emphasis position: Additional required qualifications for this position include a master's and doctoral degree, minimum of one year of academic teaching experience in either classroom or clinical and experience in acute medical-surgical and/or critical care nursing. Preferred qualifications for this position include additional classroom, online, and simulation teaching experience, and computer literacy. Management/Administration emphasis position: Additional required qualifications for this position include a master's degree and PhD, minimum of two years academic teaching experience including classroom and online, and computer literacy. Preferred qualifications for this position include experience in nursing management or administration; experience supervising student research. The candidate should demonstrate ability to develop a successful research program that includes collaborative work with colleagues and incorporates experiences for undergraduate students.
