Job Overview:

The Marketing Department in the LeBow College of Business invites applications for an Assistant/ Associate Clinical Professor to begin September 1, 2014. This is a full-time non-tenure-track position. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate level courses at Drexel Network locations, such as Burlington County Community College and Montgomery County Community College. The successful candidate may also teach online courses for the Drexel LeBow Main Campus.

 

Qualifications:

Required: PhD or ABD in Marketing or related field from an AACSB institution (ABD's may be considered at instructor level with the expectation of completion of PhD within one year.). Evidence of scholarly potential.

 

Successful experience in teaching at the undergraduate level.

 

Experience with and commitment to working with diverse student populations and commitment to equity in education at all levels.

Experience and/or commitment to the use of technology as an instructional tool. Strong collegial and collaborative skills.

 

Essential Functions:

It is anticipated that the successful candidate for this full-time, 1-2 year, non-tenure track appointment will be assigned a minimum teaching load equivalent to 32-36 quarter credits of course instruction, distributed across the Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer quarters.  Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. While focusing primarily on teaching, a scholarly research record is a plus.
