STUDENT EMPLOYMENT COORDINATOR- Responsible for the operation, organization and development of the functions for the office of student employment at the University. This position assists on-campus and off-campus students, employers, through training, development and delivery of effective programming, promoting the office of student employment, and support of the employment management database (on-line jobs database). Position is also responsible for recordkeeping, assessment and reporting functions as well as recruitment, supervision and compliance related to student employment and the America Reads program. Position coordinates employment committees and university-wide training for student personnel, and establishes and maintains detailed records of student employment. The position supports the mission of the Career Development Center; which includes student employment at the University, and assists with career fair/job expo operations, develops and maintains operating budget, and develops and maintains contacts with local and area employers and compliance related tracking for the Career Development Center and the University. REQUIRED: Bachelors degree in college student administration, human resource management, college student personnel, or closely related field and two years of professional experience in a higher education and/or student employment-related field, Masters preferred; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
