The Institute of Behavioral Science, in collaboration with the Departments of Sociology, Psychology, and Economics at the University of Colorado Boulder, invites applications for a tenured position to direct the established and internationally recognized IBS Problem Behavior and Positive Youth Development Program beginning no later than Fall of 2015. The full professor or advanced associate level is targeted. The Director leads the Program in conducting and fostering nationally recognized interdisciplinary and collaborative research and securing external funding and serves as a member of the IBS Board of Directors. We are seeking applicants with a specialization in one or more areas of problem behavior, such as: criminology, social/developmental psychology, mental health, epidemiology, social policy, program evaluation, and quantitative research methods. Candidates are expected to have an established and ongoing program of original research, a distinguished publication record, and demonstrated ability to obtain external funding, as well as a record of high-quality teaching. Tenure will be held in Sociology, Psychology, or Economics. Review of candidates will begin February 15, 2014, and continue until the position is filled.
