WSU invites you to join our Community of Learners as an Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting.  This position is a probationary (tenure-track) appointment starting August 2014.  As a faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate accounting courses in governmental/not-for-profit, intermediate financial accounting, and introductory accounting.  Additionally, you will be expected to publish scholarly and/or pedagogical research  which meets AACSB standards and provide service to the department, university, and/or a professional organization related to the position.

 

This faculty position requires that you meet AACSB accreditation standards for academically or professionally qualified (see http://www.aacsb.edu/accreditation/business/standards/participants/standard10.asp for details), possess PhD or DBA in Accounting (ABD will be considered) OR a PhD or DBA in Business with additional requirements including two intellectual contributions which meet AACSB standards and professional development activities in teaching area OR  a Masters degree in field related to the teaching assignment with additional requirements including professional experience of significant duration (minimum of 5 years) and significant level of responsibilities.
