Full-time, 9 month, Tenure Track Salary and Rank: Commensurate with qualifications. Teaching responsibilities include classroom and clinical instruction in BSN Program: academic advising of students; participation in ongoing curriculum development and evaluation committees; and active engagement in scholarly activities. The department also seeks candidates who will contribute to the University's general education curriculum with its emphasis on a common First Year Seminar and core curriculum courses that enhance students's critical thinking, and the College's support of interdisciplinary program of study. Applicants must have Masters in Nursing, Doctoral Degree preferred. Must hold unencumbered license (or be eligible for licensure) as a RN in West Virginia. Minimum of three (3) years experience in Medical/Surgical Nursing required. Teaching experience preferred. Candidates without two (2) years teaching experience must be approved by the West Virginia Board of Examiners for Registered Professional Nurses prior to beginning employment.
