Clemson University invites nominations and applications for the newly created position of Vice Provost for Enrollment Management.

Reporting to the Provost, the Vice Provost for Enrollment Management serves as the key representative for student enrollment, retention and degree management at Clemson University. This is a high impact position that will help shape the quality and diversity of the undergraduate and graduate student body at Clemson University.

The Vice Provost will provide strategic vision to attract and retain a diverse, high quality student body. The Vice Provost will oversee marketing, recruiting, outreach, admissions, and financial aid for freshmen and transfer students to shape the undergraduate class and partner with the colleges to ensure the recruitment and retention goals are aligned with institutional goals.

The Vice Provost for Enrollment Management is responsible for overseeing the personnel, budgets, technology, and operations of the Admissions Office, Student Financial Aid, as well as other units to strategically lead the various aspects of enrollment management. As part of his/her duties, the inaugural Vice Provost for Enrollment Management will: serve as a key member of the Provost's leadership team and shape the future directions for enrollment management goals; collaborate with the academic colleges on the development of short-range and long-range enrollment goals; and collaborate with other campus entities (e.g., the Honors College, the Graduate School, the Office of Global Engagement, Student Affairs, the Chief Diversity Officer, Institutional Effectiveness and Assessment, and Development). Furthermore, the Vice Provost will be well-versed on national trends and issues facing higher education, be fully up-to-date on federal and state requirements, and active with national professional activities. This individual will represent Clemson University to a wide array of constituents, including students, parents, alumni, and high school and college counselors, and provide national and international visibility for Clemson University. The Vice Provost will be a resource and advisor for Clemson's senior administration.
