English: Arkansas Tech University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of English beginning mid-August 2014. Ph.D. preferred, ABD required. Primary specialization must be linguistics. Secondary specializations of interest include TESOL, technical writing, film studies, and world literatures. Candidates must demonstrate commitment to general education instruction, including composition. Arkansas Tech is a mid-sized liberal arts university emphasizing teaching (4/4 load) and undergraduate education. Graduate programs include M.A. in English, M.A. in TESOL, and Master of Liberal Arts.
