The University of Central Florida invites applications for a tenured or tenure-earning assistant, associate or full professor position for its Health Sciences Pre-Clinical (HSPC) program. The program is within the Department of Health Professions, located in the College of Health and Public Affairs. The assignment will include teaching, research, service, and participation in other appropriate internal activities that contribute to the advancement of the program and the collegial environment within the department.

HSPC is among the largest majors at the university. Currently there are over 2,500 students in the major and over 550 students in the minor. Minimum qualifications: An earned doctorate from an accredited institution in public health; a minimum of two years of teaching experience in health sciences; and a record of research, peer reviewed publications and activities.

Preferred qualifications include: candidates should demonstrate potential for developing a strong research program of externally funded research; evidence of student mentoring with research and at least 2 years experience teaching in a Bachelor of Science program or higher within a university setting (specifically chronic disease epidemiology).
