The Department of Economics in the College of Arts and Sciences at Ohio University is searching for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics.

This is a non-tenure track, 2-year appointment with possibility for renewal. This appointment will begin on August 15, 2014.

The ideal candidate will have a record of outstanding undergraduate teaching as demonstrated by assessments of teaching effectiveness, participation in professional development programs on teaching practices, and experience with innovative practices in instructional design and technology. The successful candidate will also show evidence of research productivity.

Primary duties include teaching classes in financial economics and conducting research in the area. Other teaching areas may include: econometrics or industrial, organizational, or managerial economics.
