The University of Florida, Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, is seeking nominations and applications for Postdoctoral Associate. The ideal candidate will be able to integrate basic and clinical/translational research projects. This person will focus in the areas of biochemistry and metabolism, mass spectometry; potentially, magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Must be open to and capable of learning interdisciplinary training in multiple techniques, data processing and analysis, mentoring, grant and manuscript writing. The successful candidate will be involved with aspects of clinical research (patient contact, sample and data analysis) and animal experimentation (rodent microsurgeries, stable isotope infusion protocols and molecular mechanisms).
