The Department of Psychology at Eastern Kentucky University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position to begin August 15, 2014.  Interest in developing and overseeing a new graduate program in Applied Behavior Analysis, and commitment to teaching classes in that program, is required, as is certification (or eligibility for certification) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.  Teaching load will also include undergraduate courses (e.g., Abnormal, Child Psychopathology, Behavior Therapy, Child Development). A Ph.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA accredited program, a Ph.D. in School Psychology from a NASP accredited program or a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology is strongly preferred; An ABD from such programs is the minimum requirement. All degrees must be from a regionally accredited or internationally recognized institution. Eligibility for licensure as a Psychologist in Kentucky is desirable. Applicants must have a strong commitment to teaching and advising and to developing an active program of scholarship that encourages student involvement.
