The Department of English and Theatre at Eastern Kentucky University seeks applicants for a full-time, tenure-track position in Rhetoric and Composition available August 15, 2014. The successful applicant will teach a total of four courses per semester in Composition and Rhetorical theory.  Secondary expertise in technical writing and/or developmental writing is highly desirable. The successful candidate may be asked to work with adjuncts and graduate teaching assistants. Applicants must hold a doctorate in Rhetoric and Composition from a regionally accredited or internationally recognized institution. The successful applicant must also have two years of teaching experience at the post-secondary level and a record of scholarly and professional development.
