Business: The Martha and Spencer Love School of Business (LSB) invites applications for a tenure-track position in Strategy for fall 2014 (open rank). The individual selected will primarily teach business policy at the undergraduate level, the capstone course which integrates students' business understanding and experiences into a cohesive whole, utilizing a wide variety of engaged teaching/learning methods including case studies and a simulation exercise. The successful applicant will value the teacher/scholar model, be an effective undergraduate teacher who values mentoring students, and has an established research agenda. Faculty members in the LSB are also expected to teach in Elon's General Studies program and in the MBA program. Previous industry experience in strategy development and implementation is desirable. Preference will be shown to candidates who possess an earned doctorate in strategy from an AACSB-accredited university. About the School: The AACSB-accredited Martha and Spencer Love School of Business is ranked #42 on the 2013 Bloomberg Businessweek ranking of undergraduate programs, and #5 on their ranking of part-time MBA programs. The undergraduate program is also ranked #19 for entrepreneurship and #22 for sustainability by Bloomberg Businessweek.
