The University of Kansas Center for Global & International Studies seeks a full time, permanent lecturer position to teach language and cultural classes in Persian Studies. The position requires the lecturer to teach first and second year languages classes in Farsi and Tajik. The candidate must also demonstrate the ability to teach modern language and literature courses as well as cultural courses related to Iran and Middle East/Persianate world. Required Qualifications: 1. P.h.D or ABD in Near East Studies or related field. 2. Native or near native proficiency in Farsi and Tajik. 3. Demonstrated ability in effective teaching at the undergraduate level, as evidenced by application materials.
