Associate Chaplain and Director of Religious and Spiritual Life

The Associate Chaplain and Director of Religious and Spiritual Life, in partnership with the University Chaplain, is pastor to the community, resource to the faith community for deepening religious commitments, facilitator of multi-faith programming and interfaith dialogue, coordinator of the student multi-faith leadership program, advocate for the relationship of spiritual life and service, and a leader in growing religious diversity at Elon University. Masters of Divinity or equivalent preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will have five years' experience in programming for students and the larger intellectual and multi-faith community and have demonstrated understanding of the nature and culture of a university context. Candidates are asked to submit a cover letter, resume or CV, names and contact information for three references, and a philosophy of multi-faith chaplaincy.
