Associate Vice President/ Financial Services and Reporting - Controller

Central Michigan University is seeking an experienced professional to serve as Associate Vice President for Financial Services and Reporting. As a Senior Officer for the university reporting directly to the Vice President for Finance and Administrative Services, the AVP plans, develops and establishes policies and objectives of the University. The AVP also acts as the primary administrator for matters pertaining to financial activities emanating from the Finance and Administrative Services Division. Responsible for the administration, operation and direction of finance related service units. Oversees the development and implementation of policies and practices relating to the financial operations of the University.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or accounting; Master's degree or CPA preferred. Eight years of professional work experience in the area of finance with at least five years in a management position.
