Administrative Specialist I
Location: Moscow
Division/College: Vice Provost for Strategic Enrollment Management

Pay Range: $18.87 per hour or higher depending on experience
FTE: 1
Full/Part Time: Full Time
Position Summary:
Assist with administrative tasks including preparing correspondence, maintaining records, maintaining calendars, monitoring office inventory, ordering supplies when necessary and completing various assignments as needed. This position may be the first point of contact for the department, and is tasked with ensuring that information flows accurately, efficiently and effectively while maintaining appropriate confidentiality.
Duties may include:
- Managing records and documents
- Performing general administrative support tasks such as proofreading and receiving and distributing mail; may handle cash
- Greeting visitors, callers and/or email inquiries, determining nature and purpose and directing them to specific destinations/individuals/information
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Organizing tasks to meet deadlines
- Participating in teams to accomplish shared goals
- Using computer software and applications for word processing, email, and internet searches
Preferred Qualifications:
- Customer service experience
- Experience working in an office setting
- Some college or Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in Registrar’s Office or within higher education
