The School of Justice Studies in the College of Justice and Safety seeks to fill a nine month, tenure-track position to begin Fall 2014. Responsibilities include teaching in both our undergraduate and graduate programs. Our School offers undergraduate degrees in Criminal Justice, Corrections and Police Studies, and graduate degrees in Criminal Justice and Corrections that have a strong critical thinking component with emphasis on research and scholarship. The College of Justice and Safety provides its faculty with exceptional levels of support for professional travel, development and research. Salary and benefits are very competitive. Review of applications will begin February 1, 2014 and will continue until the position is filled. Teaching experience in core subject areas, a demonstrated record of publication, and active ongoing scholarly research agenda, and evidence of University service preferred. A Ph.D. in Criminal Justice or related field is required. Degree(s) must be from a regionally accredited or internationally recognized institution.
