The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College invites
applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of
Communication in the Department of English & Communication. UC
Blue Ash College is the largest regional college in Ohio, located
in Blue Ash, Ohio with an enrollment of approximately 6100
UCBA Communication faculty primarily teach Introduction to Public Speaking, Business Communication, and first and second-year communication electives. In addition, Communication faculty regularly teach applied communication courses oriented towards professionals as a part of our Bachelor of Technical and Applied Sciences program. Besides teaching four courses per semester, additional responsibilities include: (1) developing new communication courses, (2) participating in program maintenance and development activities, (3) participating in department, college, and university service, and (4) engaging in professional and scholarly activities.
Job Description: On a full-time basis Faculty Members principal academic functions include teaching, discovering, creating and reporting knowledge.
Minimum Qualifications: Appropriate academic degree related to department specifications and prior academic experience.
Position Qualification: ABD candidates making significant progress towards the Ph.D. in Communication will be considered. Candidates must have at least three years of relevant college teaching experience.
