Plant Science: The Department of Botany & Plant Sciences invites applications for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor position in Integrative Plant Physiology with accompanying Agricultural Experiment Station appointment. Research should be physiological, while drawing on experience or collaborations at the genetic, biochemical, cellular, organismal, and/or ecosystem level. The system of study is open, but research should be fundamental, possibly incorporating model systems, with ready translation to local agricultural and/or natural resource challenges. The successful candidate will establish a vigorous, innovative research program, distinguished by publications in refereed journals, extramural funding, and training of graduate students and postdoctoral associates. Teaching responsibilities will include both formal courses and research seminars at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. with dissertation research in plant physiology or related field. Significant postdoctoral experience or equivalent in plant physiology, particularly integrative aspects, is strongly preferred.
