Director, School of Arts & Communications, College of Liberal Arts, Oregon State University. Responsibilities include providing management and leadership of the schools teaching, scholarly/creative, and service functions; teaching, serving on college and university committees, collaborating with OSU and other CLA leadership, and donor development and engagement; and, scholarly and creative work such as publications, presentations, performances, and other forms of public dissemination of academic/artistic work. Position is a full-time, 12-month tenured administrator. Salary is commensurate with education and experience. Required qualifications include a terminal degree; a distinguished record of professional accomplishments that merits a tenured appointment at the rank of Associate or full Professor at Oregon State University; at least five (5) years of successful administrative experience in higher education; and a demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity. Preferred qualifications include exemplary organizational and communication skills; a record of successful advocacy for the arts and humanities; proven effectiveness in decision-making and problem-solving; and significant experience in donor development and engagement.
