Nursing: The School of Nursing at DePaul University seeks to recruit an Assistant/Associate or Professor, including potentially a senior scholar, with strong background in research and scholarship or high potential for substantial research productivity in the near future. Duties include teaching in the Master's Entry to Nursing Practice (MENP) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) programs. A background in statistical methods is preferred. Position will include teaching research and directing student research in the MENP and DNP programs, and advising in both programs. Qualifications: Unrestricted licensure as an RN or APN in Illinois. Minimum 2 full years clinical experience. Ph.D. in Nursing or equivalent degree. Current clinical expertise in a defined area. Ability to teach effectively at the graduate level. Ability to direct research effectively. Active research agenda and a strong publication record relative to time since the doctorate. Priority will be given to candidates who demonstrate capacity for conducting sponsored research focused in one or more of the following areas; community based service learning, interdisciplinary human patient simulation, population health, quality and safety, and health promotion in vulnerable populations. The successful candidate will also demonstrate team-building, effective mentorship of faculty, effective communication with colleagues, students, alumni, industry, and the community, and familiarity with on-line instruction and human patient simulation.
