ATTENTION:

The Department of Business and Economics of the University of Wisconsin Colleges invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor of Business (Accounting) at its UW-Waukesha campus to start in the fall of 2014.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A Masters in Business or closely related field with a CPA and/or CMA or equivalent degree is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The teaching load of 24 contact hours per year will include a combination of courses, including Introduction to Business, Introductory Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, Managerial Accounting courses. Candidates who can teach Information Management courses are also encouraged to apply. Some classes may be delivered via distance education technologies. As a tenure-track position, this requires teaching excellence, continued professional development and scholarly work, and institutional and community service. As the sole Business and Accounting faculty member at this location, the incumbent will be responsible for development of the program and recommendation of curriculum to meet student needs.
