The Bucknell Center for Sustainability & the Environment (BCSE) invites applications for a Program
Director of Sustainable Technology and the Built Environment. The BCSE is an academic unit under the
Office of the Provost office and supports all three academic colleges at the University by collaborating
with centers and offices across campus to expand academic programming in ways that enrich the
student learning environment and support faculty research. The hallmarks of the Center include field
research sites for longitudinal research, experiential learning, and close interaction with faculty and staff
to conduct research and teach/co-teach courses. BCSE staff are active scholars who explore complex
problems in the spirit of interdisciplinary collaboration across campus and beyond. We strive to create
an inclusive and supportive community in which all voices are valued and respected, diverse
perspectives are embraced, and students, faculty, and staff of all backgrounds and identities can thrive.

The Program Director is one of seven (7) staff members within the Center and one of three (3) program
directors who oversee well-established and inclusive initiatives that lead, collaborate, and innovate
within the center and across campus. The program director will complement the other existing
