Lecturer in Spanish - Department of Languages

Description

The Department of Languages at Clemson University seeks qualified and motivated candidates for the position of Lecturer in Spanish. This is a full-time, nine-month, annually renewable position teaching elementary and intermediate Spanish. Teaching is the primary responsibility, with some expectation of teaching-, student-, and/or community-centered service engagement. The nine-month salary falls within market range and includes a benefits package. Additionally, there are summer teaching opportunities.

Qualifications

A strong background in teaching undergraduates is required. The successful candidate must hold a minimum of a master's degree in the relevant field at time of appointment, August 2024; those with more advanced degrees (ABDs or PhDs) are also welcome.
