Assistant Professor - Biomechanics and Biomechanical Engineering

Location: Clemson, SC

Description

Clemson University's Bioengineering Department is seeking applicants for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the area of Biomechanics and Biomechanical Engineering. This would include areas such as sports engineering, gait biomechanics, rehabilitation, robots. The position will be located on Clemson's main campus, Clemson, South Carolina with a start date of August 15, 2023.

Qualifications

PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, or related Engineering discipline. Demonstrated excellence in research and innovation, and a strong commitment to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Post-doctoral research experience is desired as well as expertise in areas such as sports engineering, gait biomechanics, rehabilitation, robots, or other related research areas.
