FACULTY POSTION in Engineering Management Industrial and Entrepreneurial Engineering & Engineering Management

Western Michigan University invites applications for an Assistant Professor in Kalamazoo, Michigan, starting August 15, 2024. Position requires a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Industrial Engineering or Engineering Management. Position also requires: 1) Ph.D. dissertation in generating consensus in a group decision process. Job duties: Teach graduate & undergraduate courses in Industrial Engineering & Engineering Management including Project Management (EM 6140); Production/Operations Management (EM 6120); Operations Planning & Control (EM 3260); Plant Layout & Material Handling (EM 4040); & Industrial Systems Management (EM 4120). Other duties include advising students, conducting research on generating consensus in a group decision process, publishing results of research in peer-reviewed journals, and presenting results of research at professional conferences.
