The newly established Yale-NUS College (www.yale-nus.edu.sg), a collaboration between the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Yale University, draws on the best elements of liberal arts education to re-imagine the curriculum and collegiate experience for the 21st Century. 

To assist the President of Yale-NUS College, the Yale-NUS College Office in New Haven, Connecticut is seeking a full-time research associate to assist with research for speeches, lectures, academic papers, and articles for general audiences.  Candidates with a PhD or ABD in Comparative Literature or English are preferred. Some expertise in 20th-century literature and general familiarity with current debates in liberal arts education is desirable.  Candidates will also assist with drafting of abstracts, copyedits, proofreading for content and style and may perform other research and support functions in the Office of the President. 

This position is located at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut; salary: $40,000 plus benefits.  This is a term appointment expected to begin January 2014 for one year.
