Assistant Professor in Elementary Literacy Education

Illinois State University, School of Teaching and Learning, is pleased to announce a nine month, tenure-track position in elementary education at the rank of Assistant Professor. The appointment will commence on August 16, 2014. The primary assignment will be teaching undergraduate literacy education courses to elementary education majors, with the potential to teach graduate literacy courses.
Successful candidates will have a terminal degree or ABD in literacy or a related field, with a completion date prior to appointment, a minimum of 3 years teaching experience in Grades 1-6, and demonstrated potential for scholarly research.
