Job Description:

 

The School of Global Affairs and Public Policy invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of assistant professor in Public Administration/Public Policy. The incumbent will be offered a four-year renewable contract at the Public Policy and Administration Department. Successful candidates are expected to teach core and concentration courses in Public Administration and Public Policy both at the graduate and undergraduate levels. The Subject areas s/he is expected to teach include, but are not limited to, strategic management and governance, evidence-based policy making, technology and innovation in public management, public finance, organizational behavior, research methods and crisis management.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate commitment to teaching excellence, student-focused pedagogy and experiential learning. Candidates are also expected to be able to supervise master's theses and to have a solid scholarly and publications record. They should demonstrate commitment to the University's mission and values.

 

 

Requirements:

 

A PhD in public administration, public policy or a relevant discipline. Priority will be given to faculty with evidence of an active research agenda and teaching effectiveness.
