Assistant Professor of Organ and Music Theory tenure-track position in the School of Music beginning August 2014. Provide individual instruction to undergraduate and graduate students in organ performance, including a weekly studio class, and teach upper-level courses in music theory. Maintain an active portfolio of scholarly research/creative activities. Recruit potential students and maintain an active service portfolio. Doctoral Degree in Organ with evidence of degree completion required by August 1, 2014. Recognition for excellence as a performer with demonstrated understanding of a broad range of performance styles, and experience as a studio and theory classroom teacher at the collegiate level are required. Secondary graduate degree or field emphasis in music theory is preferred.
