CHAIR, DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION, Associate/Full Professor beginning June, 2014 to serve as department chair and faculty in teacher education. REQUIRED: Earned doctorate in an area of education from an accredited institution of higher education; academic experience and qualifications meriting appointment at the rank of associate or full professor; experience in evaluation of faculty; experience in working with and leading NCATE/CAEP accreditation efforts. PREFERRED: Experience with online education; administrative experience in higher education including graduate education; teacher certification; K-12 classroom teaching. Qualified applicants must submit a letter of interest, vita, unofficial transcripts, a one-page statement of teaching philosophy, evidence of teaching effectiveness, and the names of at least three references (addresses, phone numbers, emails, and nature of relationship) electronically to: email@example.com by January 31, 2014. This proof must be provided prior to consideration/employment at the University. An appointment is not final until proof is provided and the background check has been completed.
