Morris College, a private four year Liberal Arts College in Sumter, South Carolina, is seeking to fill the following position(s):

ASSISTANT /ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF BIOLOGY: To teach three laboratory-based courses each semester ranging from the introductory to the senior level in an undergraduate program. Courses include: Zoology, Anatomy and Physiology, Cell and Molecular Biology, Ecology, and Embryology. Duties also include student advising, committee assignments, participation in student registration, and other duties as needed. Must have a Ph.D. degree in biology from American-accredited institutions. Must be available January 2, 2014.

ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE:
To teach a variety of courses each semester in criminal justice. The position also includes student academic advising and college committee assignments. Must have Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from a regionally accredited institution. Must be available January 2, 2014.

ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF DEVELOPMENTAL MATHEMATICS: To teach two-semester courses in Developmental Mathematics to freshmen students to prepare them for entry into regular college level mathematics courses. Must have a master's degree in mathematics or mathematics education and two years of relevant teaching or professional experience at the college or secondary school level. Must be available January 2, 2014.

ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF PHYSICS: To teach introductory courses in physics and physical sciences effective for the 2014-2015 academic year. Participate in registration, student advising, committee assignments and other duties as assigned. Must have either a doctorate degree in physics or a master's degree in physics and four years of teaching or related professional experience. Must be available August 2014.

ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF SPANISH: To teach four or five courses (12 to 15 credit hours) each semester in Spanish. Participate in registration, student advising, committee assignments and other duties as assigned. Must have a Masters degree from a regionally accredited institution and teaching experience in Spanish. Must be available January 2, 2014.
